Lack of funding is hindering the process of healing and reconciliation in Tombura State, confirms Governor Advisor on Gender, Peace and Reconciliation.
Mary Yata says her activities are not running smoothly because of no cash to disseminate the recent signed peace agreement to women at the grassroots, Anisa Radio reports.
The advisor reveals that there is a need to fully explain the signed deal to women in the state so that they may have full information on the peace.
She says the government of Tombura State does not have enough resources to carry all their activities effectively.
The official points out that, women have undergone different traumatic events which need healing and reconciliation to set them free.
The advisor was speaking to Anisa Radio from Tambura State on Thursday.
