More than three thousand Christians gathered at Holy Cross Parish in Kauda, Nuba Mountains to celebrate its day.
Speaking to the faithful during the homily, main celebrant, Fr James William Silgat, says Holy Cross Celebration was in remembrance of the victory Jesus Christ made over the devil when he was crucified.
Fr William mentions that the cross symbolized all the difficulties Jesus Christ and Christians today have encountered during their life time.
Holy Cross Parish Priest Christopher Kongo appreciates and welcomes Gidel Parish Priests, Comboni Missionary Sisters, Precious Blood Sisters, government officials and the faithful for turning up to celebrate the day.
The celebration ended with dances and entertainments from different chapels under Kauda Holy Cross Parish.
