The governor of Yei River declares calm in all thirteen counties of the state.

Emmanuel Adil Anthony confirms that there is no more threat and there is relative stability in Limbe and Kupera, Radio Easter reports.

He says humanitarian workers in some areas reported that some of their staff were killed last week.

The governor describes the incidents as sad, very regrettable and these are elements of anti-peace.

He says the confrontations should not hinder humanitarian service delivery in the state.

Governor Adil regrets that the fighting happened after an agreement on ceasefire and governance has been initially signed in Khartoum, Sudan.

He urges all parties to respect the agreement at all levels.

The governor spoke to Radio Easter while addressing the humanitarian coordination meeting at YEI State Parliament.
