Tonj State farm products have improved because people are not depending on commodities from markets.
A farmer, Joseph Domaya told Don Bosco Radio that the prices of groundnuts, green-vegetables, pumpkins and okra of this year are already going down in the markets.
Domaya says now he is not buying food commodities from the market, because they are not produced locally. He only buys salt, sugar and soap.
The state government should provide security next year for the local citizens to cultivate on their own, he urges.
An anonymous source also says the price of groundnuts has dropped as a result of new products in the market.
