An official in the Ministry of Works in Uganda discloses that the construction of Yei-Kaya road is due.
Sebit Kasungura says he is leading a team of engineers from Uganda to do the final assessment of Yei-Kaya road, Easter Radio reports.
He stresses the need to spot the main bridges and drainages which are to be constructed.
Yei River State Information Minister says the Council of Ministers resolved to meet the Ugandan technical team for the construction of road.
South Sudan Ministry of Roads and it Ugandan counterpart is expected to sign a memorandum of understanding for the work to begin, he adds.
The group of engineers is expected to return to Uganda with an assessment report of the road situation to ease commencement.
