South Sudan Red Cross holds first aid competition in Tonj

The team of South Sudan Red Cross in Kwajok conducted one-day competition for first aid program among volunteers of Tonj and Warrap Counties.
 
The program is to build the capacity of Red Cross volunteers, Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
Karbino Kuanygoi Chiman, first aid officer, says the aim is to assist the people who are affected by the conflict.
 
He appeals to the participants to make use of their knowledge in order to serve the people suffering around the world.
 
South Sudan Red Cross is ready to give knowledge to whoever wants it, he pledges.
 
Santino Chol Garang, Red Cross Coordinator in Tonj State, appreciates the initiative of the national team.
 
He calls for cooperation among volunteers in the three states to deliver good services to communities in the area.
 
Chol says conducting such competition will help the volunteers by building their capacities.
 
The speakers were speaking to volunteers at Tonj Freedom Square on Tuesday during the competition.
