Caritas South Sudan distributes tents and food to IDPs in Juba

Caritas South Sudan has distributed ten tents to IDPs at Mangaten suburb of Juba town on Wednesday.
 
Caritas Executive Director Gabriel Yai confirmed the distributions of the no food items to the beneficiaries.
 
Yai tells CRN that the national office also gave some non-food items to lactating mothers in the same camp.
 
He explains that demands by the beneficiaries came up during the visit of President of Caritas African in the settlement for celebration of World Refugees Day 
 
Caritas South Sudan replaced ten tents that are worn out, says Charles Leju Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the Catholic charity organization.
 
He discloses that some damaged tents in Mangaten camp are already empty because the people have returned to their original home areas.
 
The officer calls on the government to improve the security situation for IDPs and refugees to return home.
 
The officials spoke after the distribution of tents and food items in Mangaten camp.
