A priest of Sacred Heart Parish Tonj of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek admits that there are many development indicators in the state.
According to Don Bosco Radio, Fr Joseph Kisumu, a new priest in the parish, says buildings are shooting up and many children are going to school.
The priest appreciates the current government of the state for maintaining peace and stability and progress.
He also requests citizens of Tonj State to support their leaders in their development plans.
Fr Kisumu encourages the youngsters who wish to become priests to continue with their dreams.
The priest appeals to communities of the area for the support to the missionaries working under their Parish.
The priest was speaking to Don Bosco radio on Tuesday in Tonj.
