The Secretary for Local Football Association in Tonj State on Monday confirmed that primer league started on Monday.
Longar Malual Ayuel told Don Bosco Radio that the first match will be between Tonj United and Lienh Tong at Tonj Freedom Square.
He says the league is supposed to start at the first week of May, but there were no referees and financial support.
Malual adds that the league will be divided into groups A and B both first and second divisions.
The secretary encourages the two divisions to play the peace game that can unite young people.
The sports programs need to be empowered in the country because it prevents youth from involving in politics, he adds.
He mentions about ten teams in the first division and ten others in the second that will participate in the league.
On Tuesday el Sijun FC is taking over Big-Market FC in Tonj Freedom Square at 4:30 PM.
The acting chairperson was not available for comment.
