Manyangok County Commissioner on Tuesday issued a local order banning consumption of alcohol in the area.
Moses Ring Deng Ading says taking too much alcohol in the county makes the community not to cultivate and have a lot of problems.
He mentions prohibiting local alcohol known as Seiko, beer, or kill-me-quick and instructed organized forces to search for the local brew so that violators face the law.
Ring Deng Ading emphasis that many families lost their relationship simply because of too much alcohol consumption.
Some ladies do not take care of their children due to too much taking of various alcohols, he adds.
The commissioner says whoever violates the order will pay 4,000 SSP or be jailed for two months.
Deng directs that someone got brewing the alcohol in the bush will pay more than 1,000 SSP as a punishment.
