National government launches ‘End child marriage’ campaign

The Governor of Gbudue State says he participated in the launch of ‘end child marriage’ campaign and all other forms of discrimination against girls in South Sudan.
 
Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa says the national Ministry of Education initiated the campaign last week in Juba.
 
He told the media upon his arrival at Yambio airstrip that it was a very important move for the country to launch the initiative which he described as successful.
 
The governor reveals that he followed up development projects which were supposed to be launched in the state some months ago, but delayed due to insecurity.
 
Badagbu notes that he also he met with the Minister of Trade and discussed some important initiatives to open Nzara County Agriculture Complex.
 
‘I have been able to get some people who will be coming here within few days to start training young boys who can do saloon work and many others’, he adds.
 
The governor discloses that Alfred Futuyo Karaba, commander of SPLA-IO in Western Equatoria told other commanders including James Nando, John Sabadari to end roads ambushes.
 
He adds that the government will also respect the ceasefire agreement sign in Khartoum recently.
