Stagnated water risky to human life, audience say

Listeners of Don Bosco Radio in Tonj State are worried of lives of people using stagnant water for drinking and bathing which can risk their lives.
 
Many families are fetching water from seasonal pool in Tonj due to few water points.
 
Some of the community members in villages on Friday expressed their concern during health matter program.
 
Kang Madut says many communities in the rural areas do not have access to clean water.
 
He is worried of infectious diseases such as cholera and Hepatitis among others.
 
William Bok, one of the callers, says children like to play in stagnant water and if there is no awareness, diseases can infect them.
 
He advises parents not to use dirty water because it is not safe for drinking or commercial purpose.
 
Musa Chol appreciates Don Bosco Radio for enlightening community members and giving them awareness on health awareness in the society.
 
They request the State Ministry of Health in Tonj State to provide necessary needs to communities to save their lives.
