Catholic Church in Juba has on Friday launched a book, call ‘Trying to build peace during the time of war’.
The book was written by Sr Elena Balatti after collecting views from over fifty people, including government officials, civil society, citizens and the church about peace.
The Sister says every person she interviewed responded positively to peace.
Sr Balatti adds that most of the people she talked to were from South Sudan except few officials from the international community.
One of the Catholic University representatives, Jimmy Pitia says the book was launched at the right time when everybody is in need of peace.
A member of South Sudan and Sudan Council of Churches, Agnes Wasuk says peace is a process.
The church Leaders were speaking during the launch of the book on Friday.
