Peace and reconciliation are collective responsibilities which need joint efforts, says high level committee of Peace and Reconciliation in Wau on Tuesday during a rally in Lokoloko area.
According to Voice of Hope Radio, the rally was to pave way for the community to create conducive environment for peaceful co-existence in the state.
Peace needs collective participation, Paul Atuk Chau, State Chairperson of Peace and Reconciliation Committee.
CEPO representative, Sebila Sebit says all people are focusing on peaceful co-existence in the area.
The lady discourages the immoral practices of youth and calls for unity but not tribalism.
She encourages women and youth to always carry the messages of peace to their communities.
The officials were speaking to Voice of Hope Radio after the rally in Lokoloko Block B in Wau State.
