The Governor of Torit State has laid the foundation stone that will pave way for the construction of Airport View Senior Secondary School due to open in 2019.
According to Emmanuel Radio, Airport Nursery and Primary School was established in 2008 and has its first batch sitting for primary eight in 2012.
The founder and manager of the school Gamara Joseph says he aims at ending illiteracy in the community.
He urges government and community to work together to provide a better opportunity for children to learn
Joseph says the success of Airport School is the contribution of parents, government and NGOs partners.
Torit governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo reiterates government commitment to continue supporting the school for the benefit of the state and the country.
He advises teachers to continue committing to their services to produce quality human resource in the future.
The governor encourages pupils to exert their efforts to education despite challenges.
He says Torit government is working hard to establish a university in the near future within Torit.
