Tombura authorities are calling on South Sudan MTN Telecommunication Company to establish their customer care office in the state to facilitate registration process.

State Information Minister Anikumbo Matthew Eme told Anisa Radio that the reopening of MTN has brought people closer to the world and will continue to facilitate many businesses in the state.

He calls for establishment of customers care office in the state to facilitate registration of sim cards because coordination takes time with dealers.

Matthew notes that some activities in the state are on the move and have secured a place to relocate internally displaced persons from Nagero County.

The minister says the total number of IDPs in the state is about 27 thousand and the government is talking with humanitarian partners to support them.

He discloses that there is an improvement of security on Tombura-Yambio road despite the recent threat in some areas.

Mathew also says Nagero County is calm, government force is on the ground to monitor any security case and civilians are returning to the town.
