The civil society organizations welcome the peace agreement signed by President Salva Kiir and Dr Riek Machar on Tuesday in Khartoum, Sudan.
Executive Director of Foundation for Democracy and Accountable Governance, Jame David Kolok, says the negotiation process is the key principle to bring the two leaders together.
He says the agreement signifies a good gesture between the two warring leaders.
Kolok appreciates the President Kiir and Dr Machar for signing the agreement which will resolve insecurity and boost agricultural activities in the country.
The Executive Director says South Sudan has to play a greater role in protecting the oil fields.
