Armed men attacked and looted a funeral home and some houses in Napere and Ikpiro in Yambio last Thursday.
The attackers came around 1: 30 AM when people where at the funeral of the wife of elder Alex Nabaigo, a community elder
An anonymous source says the attackers came from Namibia road and started beating and looting individual households up to the funeral home.
He says when the armed men arrived at the funeral home they asked coffin careers to give them money, phones and key of the Vehicle
The victims reveal that the armed men scattered in the compound and collected everything including the bed sheets covered on the dead body.
‘They also took away motorbikes and solar panels they collected from other houses.
Their vehicle stuck and many of those kidnapped managed to escape from them’, he adds.
The source appeals to the government to improve the security of civilians and their property.
They reported the incident to the government but could not get immediate response till morning
Anisa radio could not reach the police commissioner immediately for comment on the story.
