The Mayor of Tonj Municipal Council appreciates United Nations Office for Project Services or UNOPS for supporting hygiene and sanitation in the town.
Joseph Anei Madoor says the community is cooperating with UNOPS to keep the town clean.
He says the policy will teach the community to keep the town and their own places clean.
The implementation of hygiene and sanitation in the town is the collective responsibility of all, he adds.
Anei calls on citizens and the government to cooperate with the organization and a team working in the field.
The speaker made the remarks in his office on Monday in Tonj.
