The Mayor of Wau Municipality banned the increment of the bread prices from fifteen to twenty South Sudanese Pounds.
Hassan Ngor Aguer’s local order seen by Voice of Hope Radio, says it is completely not normal to increase the price of bread.
The order warns that violators of the order will face imprisonment for one month and pay ten thousand SSP as fine.
The order says both punishments are compulsory.
The Mayor instructs the executive officer, their assistants in blocks, security organs, organized forces and legal administrators in the municipality to implement the order.
