Regulations are for safety of statelessness in South Sudan

The Ambassador of the International Conference of the Great Lakes Region National Coordinator says regulations are for the safety of people in South Sudan.
 
Antipas Nyok Kucha adds that the rules are also applied for the security of the nation.
 
The representative of UN refugees’ agency or UNHCR Johann Siffointe 0065 presses commitment to support the government of South Sudan to end statelessness in the country.
 
He adds that they will advocate for the improvement of legal framework relating to the status of stateless persons.
 
Since 2012 UNHCR helped 12,000 people to obtain nationality certificates.
