National Ministry of General Education and Instructions conducted an orientation workshop to early child hood development teachers in Wau on the new curriculum.
Sarafino Salvatore, one of the facilitators, says South Sudan new curriculum is ready to be launched next year, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
South Sudan has been using curricula of other countries which need to be changed now, he adds.
The facilitator says it is important for the nation to have its own curriculums as it shows the way people are to live.
The new set of courses helps in developing people’s skills compared to former one which was just to give knowledge, he adds.
Sarafino states that the aim is for the curriculum to help in building good attitude of citizens.
The facilitator spoke after the workshop in Wau.
