Tonj farmers complain of destruction of their crops by animal

Farmers in Tonj state are complaining that animals are destroy their crops in the garden.
 
A farmer in Tonj town Turuk Yout Kiir points out that cases of animals destroying crops increase in the areas. Don Bosco radio reports.
 
Yout disclosed that many farmers in the area have complaining about the same issue and the authorities have to implement what is known as ‘Wanhalel Agreement’ between farmers and cattle keepers.
 
Yout points out that cattle are not supposed to stay within the town and municipal authorities should do something about this issue.
 
Another farmer Tali Mador appeals to the owners of goats and cows to look after their cattle to avoid destroying crops.
 
He added South Sudanese can only fight hunger through cultivation of more crops which should not be destroy by animals.
 
Mador says level of insecurity in the area cannot allow them to stay in their guardian, that is why they are staying in the town.
