Residents in Chukudum County of Kapoeta State are complaining that dozens of farmers in the area lack knowledge on keeping seeds and agricultural produce to overcome hunger in the long run.

Everisto Lokiru says, people in the area are not enlightened on the new farm techniques, resulting to continuous hunger.

Lokiru calls on the government and NGOs to carry out lead assessment and aware people on how store crops.

He appreciates Community Development Support Services or CDSS for offering some training to farmers in Chukudum for the past few months but calls for refreshing training

He says, if trainings and follow up are done properly there will be no worry of hunger strike in the whole county.
