At least three SPLA Soldiers were killed and one injured in a communal conflict between Apuk padoc and Lou in Tonj State.
Tonj State Acting Governor, Awien Dhal Madut says forces that were accompanying Tonj Governor clashed with civilians in Tonj East County during the disarmament process.
Dhal explains that an SPLA soldier wounded a civilian who refused to surrender his gun, resulting to a fighting between the civilians and the SPLA soldiers.
He admits that three SPLA were killed and one civilian injured during the incident.
The Acting Governor stresses that unauthorized firearms must be collected from civilians, so that peace and stability can preveil in the area.
Dhal says he is disappointed when she sees everybody with firearms and wonders where the civilians acquire them from.
The Acting Governor Dhal says the security situation is now calm after the incident.
