Bishop renews call for humanitarian support in Yei

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei says Yei River State is still in need of humanitarian support as people are voluntarily returning home.
 
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe in an interview with Easter Radio says the hunger situation in the area is dire and needs intervention.
 
The Bishop points out that it will take the returnees long to produce their own food.
 
Bishop Lodu adds that humanitarian workers are doing a lot in other states but in Yei River State is different.
 
The Bishop says the state last received food assistance in February last year
