State Minister of Agriculture in Tonj State says they are training farmers to combat the fall army worm before starting cultivation.
Angelo Deng Magol says the ministry and other NGOs are working hard to make sure farmers are supported in their activities, Don Bosco Radio reports.
The minister encourages farmers to register their lands to produce crops for markers every year.
The minister advises the farmers to identify good seeds before planting.
The speaker made the remarks on Monday and Don Bosco Radio could not reach famers for comments.
