High Level Revitalization Forum resumes Thursday, JMEC confirms

Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD-led High Level Revitalization Forum is expected to resume in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Thursday, confirmed Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission or JMEC Chairperson.
 
Festus G Mogae calls on all parties to put the interest of the country first and make compromises to achieve necessary resolution to all pending issues.
 
Mogae appeals to authorities in Juba and the oppositions to accommodate each other and put an end to the ongoing conflict in the country.
 
JMEC Chairperson says the humanitarian situation is expected to worsen due to the ongoing conflict in the country.
 
He urges parties to stop violating the cessation of hostilities agreement signed last year and provide safe environment during the revitalization process.
 
Festus Mogae Spoke during the postponed 22nd JMEC plenary meeting held in Juba on Monday.
