Jim Kabeho urges the business community of South Sudan to join the EAC to benefit from trade and available opportunities across the region and beyond.
The South Sudanese business community is expected to gain on capacity building, advisory services on trade policy, law and opportunity to influence policy reforms, he notes.
‘Public-private partnership has been one the key factors behind most of the achievements attained in the East African Community region’, says Kabeho.
EABC is unwavering to collaborate with the private sector in South Sudan, the Chairman pledges.
He during the Council multi-stakeholders dialogue forum in Juba on Thursday, congratulated South Sudan for joining the East African Community.
Kabeho urges the government of South Sudan to fast track preparation to implement various commitments under EAC.
He says the government of South Sudan should ensure its people gain immensely from trade and investment cooperation with other five EAC Partner States.
