Authorities in Katire receive Bishop Emeritus

Authorities in Katire of Geria County, Torit State on Sunday welcomed Bishop Emeritus and described the visit as a great blessing and honor to the people of the area.
 
Onyu Dominic, Commissioner of Geria, who accompanied Bishop Taban Paride in simple Arabic, describes the Bishop as a true leader and a servant of God, Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
He calls on South Sudan leaders to imitate Bishop Emeritus who portrays good examples of leadership to help lessen South Sudan problems.
 
The Catechist of Katire Chapel prays that may the Mighty Father to open the hearts of South Sudan leaders so they remember and visit historical places.
 
Bishop Taban says his aim of visiting Katire is to celebrate his 82 years aniversary and 52 years of serving God.
 
He says Katire is where he learned being a peaceful man and how to preach about peace to the people of South Sudan and the world at large.
 
The officials made the remarks while addressing the public after the mass in Katire on Sunday.
