Christians of Saint Augustine on Sunday paid a thanksgiving visit to their mother church St Mary Catholic Parish in Yambio.
According to Anisa Radio, the visit was to give thanks and appreciate their mother church for giving them a parish of their own.
During the mass the parish priest of St Mary Fr Louise Nvuekama welcome the visitors and encourages them to continue with the spirit of togetherness.
Fr Louis pleads to the two parishes to be united and cooperate in order to bring out the good and new ideas of peace and development.
Parish Priest of St. Augustine Elias Juma appreciates his choir for giving thanks to their mother parish.
St Augustine Catholic parish started in 2011 a chapel in 2012 upgraded and in 2015 it was declared as a parish with new name of St Augustine.
The speakers were talked at St Mary parish in Yambio on Sunday.
