People living with disabilities are calling for inclusivity and respect to their rights in South Sudan.
Deng Bol Aruia Bol, founder of Deng Foundation says the organization was built through support from UNDP, CNN and other partners in the country.
He says the Foundation also participated in peace building and South Sudan independence.
However, Awut Deng Acuil, national Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare pledges to establish South Sudan Council of People with Disabilities.
She adds that the right of persons with disabilities is included in South Sudan constitution.
The Disable people conducted consultative workshop under the theme: ‘We are part of the society, together, let’s build South Sudan’.
The workshop brought together government, NGOs and many other officials.
Deng foundation was established in Colorado in USA and its now 18 years.
