Forty-eight police officers including eleven females in Torit are attending five-day training on investigation skills, says State Police Spokesperson.
Mathew Ochan Jacob says the trainees will be recruited as investigators to help deal with crimes in their various counties.
The Spokesperson says the police will be dispersed to their various duty stations after the training.
Ochan admits that working without investigators was challenging, but with the training, it will ease police to handle cases.
The five-day training is supported by UNDP in collaboration with the South Sudan Police Service.
