Becoming a priest is not a joke, but a responsibility with steps leading to it, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei tells people while installing seminarian Archangel Modi Lumago into Lector.

Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe points out that once a person becomes a priest, he should be serious from that day until the end of his life in the ministry, Easter Radio reports.

The Catholic leader in Yei explains that a step of Lector, acolyte, candidate to deaconate and deaconate leads to priesthood.

Any person reaching those steps has to continue according to the instructions of the Catholic Church.

The Bishop spoke on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral while presiding over the mass and installation of Seminarian Arkangelo Modi Lumago to a Lector.
