The Governor of Torit State and his cabinet witnessed the swearing in of new chairpersons of Monitoring and Evaluation and Peace Commissions.
Tobiolo Alberio Oromo changed the two chairpersons last week in a gubernatorial decree, Emmanuel Radio reports.
Joseph Oswaha, former Chairperson for Peace Commission currently chairperson for Monitoring and Evaluation Commission appreciates the shift in position.
He says the change will enable him learn experiences in various fields of leadership.
Oswaha urges citizens to build relationships and continue to unite for lasting peace to prevail in the state.
He expresses readiness to help his colleague.
During the swearing in ceremony, Governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo, says change is good for developmental purposes in the state and the country at large.
He urges the officers to work hard in their new offices and not get discouraged by the ongoing economic crisis in the country.
German Charles Ojok, former Chairperson for Monitoring and Evaluation Commission, becomes the chairperson for Peace Commission.
