Religious urges government to utilize natural resources for development

The Apostolic Administrator of the Catholic Diocese of Torit is urging Torit government to make proper use of available resources to build up the state.
 
Monsignor Thomas Oliha Atiya says improper use of resources lowers development, Emmanuel Radio reports.
 
Although logging of timbers has been significantly seen around in the state, communities still lack schools, roads among others, he points out.
 
The Apostolic Administrator believes Torit is the least develop state in South Sudan.
 
Oliha calls on the government to manage revenues for the development of the state.
 
Monsignor Oliha in a similar story appreciates the state government for working hard in improving security situation in Torit.
 
The Apostolic administrator was addressing the public during a public rally at Torit freedom square in Torit on Tuesday.
