The Commissioner of Mukaya County of Yei River State reveals a plan to relocate the Internal Displaced Persons or IDPs to a new site.

Beneiah Jojon Clement says County authorities are yet to identify a proper area for the relocation after many complaints from the IDPs, Easter Radio reports.

Many citizens of Mukaya fled to Yei River County after July 2016 in search for refuge after violence erupted in their county.

The commissioner says the programme was to allow the IDPs to be able to cultivate as the rain season commences so as to be self-reliant.

Commissioner Jojon consoles the displaced persons to have courage and be hopeful that their suffering will end.

He calls for the spirit of forgiveness and tolerance among the citizens.

The commissioner appreciates humanitarian partners for providing assistance to IDPs.
