The newly appointed governor of Tonj state vows to maintain security in the entire Tonj and neighboring states.
Lieutenant General Anthony Bol Madut told Don Bosco Radio that his first priority is to see people living in peace and harmony.
‘By maintaining security situation it gives chance for development in the country,’ he adds.
The state governor says the current security situation in the area is calm despite the rumors of tribal violence from the communities.
He calls on the communities to respect the law in order to achieve peace in the country.
Tonj state has been witnessing series of inter-communal violence since December last year; where dozens have lost their lives over cattle raiding.
