A medical taskforce was formed and is ready for any health emergency during the referendum exercise.
Undersecretary at GoSS Ministry of Health Olivia Lomoro said today that medical practitioners have a big role to play in the referendum exercise.Dr. Lomoro added that a taskforce was formed to deal with emergencies during the referendum.
She added that medicines, medical kits and ambulances are already being set aside to facilitate the taskforce’s emergency work across South Sudan.
Dr. Lomoro made these statements at a medics’ conference in Juba today.
