Director General in the Ministry of Health in Tonj State says hygiene and sanitation is a collective responsibility to prevent diseases.
Raphael Mawien demands the public to clean their surroundings to maintain it clean all the time. Don Bosco Radio reports.
Dr Mawien discloses that his ministry will conduct a meeting soon with relevant authorities in the state to address the health issues, including waste disposal.
He assures the public of improvement in the health status in Tonj state after the meeting.
Dr Mawien outlines malaria, HIV and Typhoid among others as some of the common diseases in the area.
He urges the youth to abstain from sex to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDs.
