Ngapagok commissioner hands over raided cattle to owners

The Commissioner of Ngapagok County of Tonj State on Thursday handed over raided cows to the rightful owners in neighboring Jal Wau County.
 
Marko Madok Madhieu says he gave hundred and eighty-seven cows, Don Bosco radio reports.
 
The Commissioner reveals that they are implementing governor’s orders of returning all looted properties on both sides.
 
He notes that it is the second time he is returning the looted cows to Jal Wau community in order to restore peace in the region.
 
Madok explains that the state government gave them military support to facilitate their work.
 
He discloses that forces on the ground ask the conflicting communities to contribute food items.
 
The Commissioner points out that the ring leader, who led the youth to loot the cattle is now in county police custody.
