The speaker of Imotong state legislative assembly is calling on communities to uphold good cultural practices to enhance peace in the state.
Charles Udwar advises citizens to take away all harmful cultural practices such as theft, killing and raiding and embrace one another and live in peace. Emmanuel Radio reports.

Udwar beliefs that through such activities of traditional marathon, the youth will be able to share the challenges facing them and how they can overcome them at the same time.
The Speaker says when communities come up with good cultural activities it shows the signs of peace in the state.
Speaker Udwar encourages the youth to carry the annual celebration in order to build everlasting peace amongst the fifteen villages of Torit east county.
