Two children were found dead on Wednesday in Kauda area of Heiban County in the Nuba Mountains after a fire caught them in the room.
Shariff Hassan, the father of the children said he was away when the incident happened, but according to the report he received no one knows the causes of the fire. Voice of Peace Radio reports.
Margaret Kuku Diger, the mother of the two deceased children says she realized only at the last minute to find that they were engulfed by large flame of fire.
She says she only grabbed one baby and rushed outside but could not manage to collect the two year boy and a five year girl inside the burning house.
Voice of Peace could not reach Kauda police for further comments.
