A Medical staff in Tombura State Hospital says parents should not delay their children at home when they are sick, but hurry them to the health facility.
Mary Gaetano Badogoro works at pediatric ward at Tombura State hospital. She warns that when a sick child is delayed at home, the child has a high risk of complications which can lead to death. Anisa Radio reports.
She says the number of children admitted in the hospital this year reduced compared to last year.
Mary appeals to the community to know the importance of hospital in their areas and make good use of it.
Michelina William one of the mothers whose child was admitted due to watery diarrhea says her child’s situation has improved because she rushed him to the hospital.
