The priests of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba on Saturday concluded their annual week long retreat with prayers for peace in South Sudan.
Priests were praying to God to have mercy on South Sudanese people, Fr Erkolano Lodu Tombe, Rector of St Lawrence Minor seminary in Rejaf told faithful at St Joseph Parish, Radio Bakhita reports.
He says they were also asking God to intervene and save South Sudanese from the current tough situation.
Fr Lodu urges the faithful to keep on praying with sincere hearts for God to answer their plea for peace.
The retreat took place in Kit of All Saints Parish Rejaf.
