The Governor of Yei River State has promised to stabilize the security situation and bring peace through sports.
Emmanuel Adil Anthony during the final tournament for peace says broken societies around the world have succeeded to live in harmony with one another through sports, Radio Easter reports.
He adds that sports heals trauma and promotes unity.
The Governor stresses on the need for people to unite and love one another to attain lasting peace.
The sports tournament was organized by the UN Mission in South Sudan.
Eight teams participated in the tournament and Nassir FC won the trophy.
