The Missionary Sisters’ Servants of the Holy Spirit regional leader is on four-day visit to the Catholic Diocese of Yei.
The trip is to have pilgrimage and give hope to the people, Easter Radio reports.
Sister Maria Jerly says she also intended to visit the tomb of Sister Veronica Teresa Rackova, who was murdered in May 2016 but denied access by the security organs.
The nun asks the Christians to be hopeful that peace returns so that sisters come back to the diocese.
The Regional leader asks all political leaders to protect citizens.
She also appeals to the leaders to make use of the resources for development.
The leader was speaking to Radio Easter in an exclusive interview.
