Imotong State Director General in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry is calling on partners to speed up their support for farmers before the rain season begins.
Dr Isaac Aleardo Paul in their cluster meeting tells partners concerned with agriculture, to provide farmers with seeds, tools and equipment to increase production this year, Emmanuel Radio reports.
Aleardo observes early signs of rain this year.
He urges organizations to educate farmers on seeds plantation and choosing the right land for cultivation.
The Director made the remarks during a food security cluster meeting at the state Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Torit on Wednesday.
