The Ministry of Education in Abyei Administrative Area is looking for qualified Secondary School teachers for three schools.
John Ajang Kiir Director General says they are seeking teachers specialized in English, Mathematics, Physics, chemistry and biology among others, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
He says officials from Abyei went to Wau to take those who are willing to teach because the ministry lacks teachers.
The Director-General says they are not getting funds from the Europeans Union due to lack of good reporting and complexity of issues.
He says they will provide the accommodation to the contracted teachers.
Ajang is hoping that this year their students will get better education.
He appeals to the NGOs that are working in the field of education to help Abyei.
Abyei has three secondary schools, but finding difficulties in operating as they lack scholastics equipments.
The Director made the remarks in his visit to Wau on Monday.
