The Catholic Diocese of Torit vows to continue creating harmony in Imotong and Kapoeta States.
Fr John Opi Severino, Peace and Justice Coordinator for Caritas Torit, says the church is working hard to promote good relationship between the two states, Emmanuel Radio reports.
Even if the states are divided, we are still under one Catholic Diocese, he stresses.
Fr Opio calls on peace partners and actors to unite and deliver peace programs in the state.
Peace and Justice Coordinator also appeals to peace implementing partners to work hard to benefit all South Sudanese.
The Coordinator was speaking during a peace cluster meeting on Monday in Torit town.
The meeting attracted Imotong State Peace Commission, CRS, SAFERWORLD; UNMISS Civil Affairs department and Catholic Diocese of Torit.
